*Ittoseki 

Do you know Seikishusai Yagyu?

He was the prominent master of his own Kendow style called Yagyu-Shinkage Ryu. That interesting legend has been considered as a fiction among Japanese people. He could break and cut the giant stone by his amazing Shikageryu. He had been able to cut the stone called Ittoseki soon after he attacked the monster midnight though it was dark. The Shinkageryu was the superior Kenndou style because we can beat with enemy without eyes if we could master it.

*Isuien Garden

There are many traditional Temples in Nara. But if you wish to enjoy Japanese garden, you should visit Isuien Garden. Isuien Garden constituted of circle passage garden that peculiar Japanese style  and landscape garden with borrowed scene of Wakakusayama and Nandaimon gate of Todaiji Temple, and these garden are full of so beautiful flower or colored leaves.

*Shiga Naoya Old Residence

Famous Novelist Naoya Shiga designed his own residence in Takabatake where is quiet residence zoon.  There are many rooms mixed western style and Japanese one and face beautiful garden. This residence was built in early Showa era, and had become the Takabatake Salon with many artists and intellects of that time.

*Zuto and Buddhist stone relief carvings

Remainds of pyramidal structure built in 8th century by the Todaiji Temple priest Jicchu as an expression of desire for peace in the land. The sides of the pyramid are about 32m square, and height 10m, making it the largest of its type of Japan, and quite rare. On each side there are multiple stone Buddhist relief carvings, line engravings, such as Nyorai triptychs.

In a urban area, the pyramid is popular as a spiritual place.

*Harushika Japanese Sake Imanishi Syoin

You can enjoy tasting Japanese sake in the old sake brewery with feeling of Edo era.

Next is Imanishi-ke shoin house where was Japanese warrior residence over 500years ago. There are filled with quite simple and elegant atmosphere that is different from any temples.

*Jurin-in Temple 

Jurin-in Temple is very small temple located in corner of Naramachi. Very rare stone Buddha statue have been enshrined over 1000 years. And main temple that is designated national treasure has high reputation of concise and sophisticate architecture.

*Nara Centenary Hall

Centenary hall opened 2010 as memorial project of the relocation of Heizyokyo 1200yeas in fron of JR Nara station.

Worldwide famous architect Arata Isozaki designed this concert hall with unique exterior.
